Beneath every data point and high-stakes strategic decision is something far more human.

I’ve spent my career mastering the art of Boardroom Psychology—understanding the human dynamics of the people behind the power.

As a Consulting Psychologist & Leadership Advisor, I help leaders decode the human side of leadership so organizations can move from guarded conversations and groupthink to clarity, courage, and meaningful collaboration.

Psychological depth and organizational authority.

WHAT MAKES MY WORK DIFFERENT

Most coaches and advisors bring one or the other. A therapist understands the person but may not know the boardroom. A business consultant knows the system but may not see the human being inside it. I hold both — and that intersection is where the alignment happens.

My Psy.D. in professional and applied psychology, combined with decades inside executive teams, boardrooms, and high-stakes organizational moments, means I can read a room, a relationship, and a strategic situation at the same time. I see what’s being said, what’s not being said; where the tensions lie; avenues to a solution.

A few things I know to be true…

WHAT I BELIEVE

Candor is an act of courage and respect.

I tell leaders what I actually see — clearly, and with care. The most useful thing I can offer is an honest perspective delivered by someone who is genuinely in your corner.

Leadership is both deeply personal and profoundly collective.

What happens inside a leader shows up in the room. The work a leader does (or not) exerts an unseen force that shapes the development of teams

Complexity is not a problem to be solved, it is a reality to be navigated.

The work of leadership is rarely about finding the perfect answer. It is about making thoughtful choices in the presence of uncertainty while helping others remain focused, connected, and moving forward.

Boards are an important part of the leadership ecosystem.

Everything that is done at the top impacts others’ willingness to be honest.  The process is both inside out and outside in.

WHAT WORKING TOGETHER LOOKS LIKE

  • I don’t start with assumptions. I start with questions. A structured discovery process — including targeted conversations, organizational context, and where relevant, a comprehensive 360-degree leadership assessment — gives us a clear, grounded picture of what is actually happening and what is needed. This is the foundation everything else is built on.

  • One of the most powerful tools in my work is the 360-degree leadership interview — a targeted process in which I speak directly with a leader’s colleagues, direct reports, and key stakeholders to gather candid, qualitative insight into their leadership impact.

This is not a survey. It is a conversation-based process, and the difference matters. People share things in conversation that they would never put in a box on a form. The result is a nuanced, honest picture of how a leader is actually experienced — and a focused development plan grounded in what is real, not what is assumed.

Leaders consistently describe it as one of the most clarifying experiences of their career.

  • What I learn in discovery shapes what we do next. For individual leaders, that may mean focused advisory sessions, real-time counsel during a critical period, or a structured reflection intensive. For teams, it may mean facilitated dialogue, a strategic retreat, or an ongoing advisory relationship. The format follows the need — not the other way around.

  • Some of the most important work happens in the moment.  When a leader is facing a difficult conversation, a consequential decision, or a sudden disruption, I am available as a candid and steady presence when it matters most.  Just-in-time calls are part of the process.

  • Insight only matters if it changes behavior. I help leaders translate what they discover about themselves into concrete shifts in how they lead, communicate, and show up — for their teams and for themselves. Clients don’t just perform better. They become better.

Every client relationship is different, but they all begin with a conversation.
